The special holder for wheelchairs ensures a safe lock of the front wheels—with a variable distance to the drive unit—to allow qualified cardiovascular training and targeted exercise of the shoulder and arm muscles for wheelchair users.

The special chair of the optibike 400 can be replaced with a wheelchair holder in a few simple steps. The front wheels can be secured in the holder, and the distance to the handles is adjustable.

The height of the ergometer unit is adjustable to optimally match all body dimensions.

The user-friendly ergometer operation makes it easy to perform training sessions. Just push a few buttons to track heart rate and load during a training session on the large display. The feature enables the precise performance of heart rate-controlled training. The chest strap records the ECG signals and automatically regulates the ergometer output to ensure a constant heart rate.

Uninterrupted, reliable acquisition of the heart rate is indispensable for conducting heart rate-controlled training. The digital ergoline chest strap allows for the unique allocation of the strap to a patient—the “inadvertent” transmission of another person's strap signals is completely ruled out.

Up to 10 different training profiles (all forms of training) can be specified with the ergoline training chip card. The opticare basic PC software writes all training parameters, including warm-up and recovery phase, to the chip card to be read by the ergometer. At the end of a training session, the ergometer writes the entire course of the training to the chip card, which allows for saving the data of up to 60 training sessions. Once the data on chip card is downloaded to the database of the opticare basic software, all training sessions are available for documentation and analysis.
